Pessimist??

There was a hunter who bought an amazing bird dog.This one-of-a-kind dog could walk on water.The hunter was looking forward to showing off his new acquisition to his friends.He invited a friend to go duck hunting.After some time,they shot a few ducks and the man ordered his dog to fetch the birds.All the day long,whenever there were birds to be fetched,the dog ran on the water to retrieve the birds.The owner was expecting his friend to comment or compliment him about his amazing dog,but never go one.As they were returning home,he asked his friend if he had noticed anything unusual about his dog.

The friend replied,

"Yes;in fact ,I did notice something unusual.Your dog can't swim."

Some people are always look at the negative side.

Who is a pessimist?

Pessimists :

1) are unhappy when they have no trouble to speak of

2) don't see the doughnut but only the hole

3) spend most of their time at complaint counter

4) always turn out the lights to see how dark it is.

5) are always looking for cracks in the mirror of life

6) believe that the sun shines only to cast shadows

In other word,pessimist is a tendency to stress the negative or unfavorable or to take the gloomiest possible view.

When Robert Fulton invented the steamboat,he displayed his new invention on the bank of the Hudson River.Among the crowd who gathered around to observe the steam boat were some pessimists and skeptics.They commented that it would never start.But lo and behold,it did.As it made its way down the river,the pessimists who said it never start,saw it start,immediately shouted now it would never stop.

What an attitude!!!
