Pork is prohibited in Quran
It is prohibited in 2:173,5:3,6:145 and 16:115
Holy Quran 5:3
Prohibited for you are animals that die of themselves, blood, the meat of pigs, and animals dedicated to other than ALLAH.
Holy Quran 2:173
He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then is he guiltless. For Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful.
The above verses of the holy quran are sufficient to satisfy a Muslim why pork is forbidden.
Pork is prohibited in Bible
Leviticus 11:7-8
And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he [is] unclean to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they [are] unclean to you.
Deuteronomy 14:8
And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it [is] unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
Isaiah 65:3-4
A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable [things is in] their vessels;
Isaiah 66:16-17
For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one [tree] in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
Pig is the most SHAMELESS animal!
It is the only animal that invite its friendsto have sex with its mate.In America,most people consume pork.Many times after dance parties,they have swapping of wives; i.e many say
"you sleep with my wife and I sleep with your wife"
If you eat pigs,then you will behave like pigs.
